01People

License

~2–5 days

You complete the creator training: Contracts, Classification, DBT, Astronomer. We issue a License to your SSO identity. That gets you a workspace.

02Dev-enabled product

Register

~1–2 weeks

You submit the product for development: contract draft, cost center, AWS account, stewards, Accountable Architect. Platform and Architecture review.

03Prod-enabled product

Certify Roadworthy

~1–2 weeks

Your product passes a certification campaign, the Data Owner (or Steward) signs off, and ops readiness is confirmed. You hit the road.

Who goes through this

One person signs up. The team follows.

Whoever starts Autobahn becomes the Product Creator of record. You can invite engineers, analysts, and a Data Steward once your License is issued. Everyone on the product must be Licensed before the product can be certified roadworthy.

Product Creator
Signs up, invites the team, attests to classifications, signs Data Contract.
Engineers / Analysts
Accept invite, complete License training, build pipelines in the workspace.
Data Steward
Assigned during Register. Reviews certification results before Roadworthy is granted.
Accountable Architect
Named during Register. Signs off on the design review before dev is enabled.
